Last night I went to bed at 9pm or so. Yeah, I was completely worn out. Why? Because sis and I spent all frickin' day at Universal. Arrived at 11am and stayed 'til 6pm. If you don't want to do the math, that's seven hours. Seven hours at a theme park is a long, long time. The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man - I think this is the best simulator ride @ Universal. Incredible Hulk Coaster - This coaster is by far the smoothest running steelie coaster I've ever been on, and there's only one way to ride this - front row. Dr. Doom's Fear Fall - Okay, okay.. honesty time here. Last two times I went to Universal I purposely avoided this vertical ride. Why? Because they scare the crap out of me. Years ago at the now-defunct Rocky Point there was a vertical ride called the "Free Fall" that I never went on; it just looked too intimidating and that fear carried with me all these years. But I finally faced the fear and went on the Fear Fall. Scared the crap out of me, but I did it. And I'd do it again. :-) Dueling Dragons - The fire side is better than the ice side on this coaster, and that's the side I went on. Shrek 4-D - First time on this one. It rocked. I can't tell you why because it would ruin it if you've never been on it. But I can tell you that it's very, very well done. Revenge of the Mummy - This ride is a high speed roller coaster - IN THE DARK. I did not know this. Total surprise. Kicked ass in all the right places. Absolutely loved this one. Words cannot describe how cool this ride is. The only thing I haven't seen at Universal is Jaws. This attraction has been there for a really long time. Next time I go, this is the first one I'm going to. Sis and I had a blast. This was the first time she'd been to Universal in nine years. This is the third time I've been there in a year. Who'da thunk it?
