19 days tobacco-free and 3 days on plain paste
The last true tobacco cigarette I had was on April 5, 19 days ago. Since then I've been "smoking" NJOY e-cigs exclusively.
There are four levels of nicotine with NJOY cartomizers. The highest is "regular" flavor, which is 1.8% nicotine by volume, then "medium" 1.2% which would be considered "light", then "low" 0.6% which would be "ultra light", then "none" which is 0% nicotine.
Yesterday I switched from 1.8% to 1.2%. Seems okay so far and I think I'll be able to swing it. The only real problem is that when the time comes to switch off from 1.2% to 0.6% in a few weeks, I'll have to custom order it as they don't sell that in 7-Eleven. It's the same price I'd pay at the counter if custom-ordered, but it's inconvenient I have to get them in the mail. Guess I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. I might ring up NJOY directly and ask if they offer some kind of deal, like "5 refill bottles for the price of 4". If they did offer something like that I'd totally go for it.
Earlier last week in Walgreen's I noticed that finally, after all this time, Tom's of Maine brand toothpaste was actually for sale on the shelf. Yes it was $5 for the tube but I snatched that up real quick and bought it.
Why did I get so excited about stupid toothpaste? Because ToM brand is one of the very few that is plain white paste with no added crap in it.
The next time you're browsing toothpastes, try to find one that is just plain white paste and nothing else. Seriously. Other than ToM, you won't find any. In fact, you'll see everything but plain white paste.
I've been using ToM brand for a few days now and yeah, it's great stuff. I knew it was good when feeling my teeth after a rinse. Standard pastes leave this film (which they promote as 'fresh breath all day') that doesn't wash off properly. If after brushing your teeth they feel slightly 'soft', that's the film the paste left behind. ToM brand however washes off after a rinse exactly like it's supposed to with no film.
Very happy ToM brand is for sale on the shelf.. was way overdue. 🙂
