Red Sox Win again!

Being a New England native, I'm a Red Sox fan. No, I don't know the player's names or their stats or whatever. I'm just a fan. I'm also not one of those guys who watches sports on television. Can't say I'm really a sports guy. As a matter of fact I've been watching very little tv these days. But anyway..

The 'Sox made history tonight, coming back from a 3 game deficit to force a game 7 in the series - and that's never been done before. Cool beans. I was happy to see them win - especially against the Yankees who seem to just dominate everyone in their path (but not tonight!!)

Things have been going A-OK for New England for several years now. The Patriots have won 2 Superbowls - something I'd never thought I'd see happen. The UCONN Men's and Women's basketball teams both had championship victories at the same time. Now the only one left is the 'Sox - which I think is the most important one.

I am just not used to seeing our teams winning. It's not that they aren't good enough. It just always seems that they run into strains of bad luck. But luck seems to be riding on our side right now. Will the 'Sox take it home? Don't know. I'm too used to too many years of the 'Sox having bad luck. But who knows, maybe this will change. Who's to say for sure.
