I saw someone access this page in my traffic log, saw the
cartoon and figured I'd write the whole story about it.. 8
years later. :-)

This, along with something else I did, is what got me fired
from the first job I got after I moved to Florida in 2006.

I worked at a computer recycling center, and the company is
still in business today. More on that in a moment.

I applied for the job because they said they needed a
"laptop technician". Wrong. They needed someone to go
through all their junk laptops not for repair but rather to
refurbish as much as possible to resell on eBay later.
That's obviously not a technician.

This company would illegally resell laptops collected from
corporations that explicitly told them not to resell them.
All we did was format the hard drives and then they went to
eBay.

The job was in a hot warehouse where you'd fucking sweat all
day working on this shit. That in itself wasn't so bad. What
was bad were the people who worked there.

Hispanic bitch cunt manager: That is the character the
cartoon is about. All she ever did was come in, yell at
people, then leave. Didn't do did a lick of work. Ever. She
was a cunt in her mid-30s with a cute ass, and I guarantee
the only reason she had a job is because she was fucking the
married senior manager, who also conveniently was hardly
ever there (probably getting his dick wet with Hispanic cunt
manager). The cunt's "job" was, obviously, being a
professional whore.

Shaggy: A 20-year-old kid who thought he had "seniority"
after only working there 6 months. Yes, really. This kid was
born with a silver spoon up his ass, and was only working
there because daddy said he needed to have an actual job. He
looked almost identical to Shaggy from the Scooby-Doo
cartoons.

Gamer: Another 20-year-old kid, and the best friend of
Shaggy. Total prick.

Hispanic dude: One of the few sensible people working there,
and was the one who told me about all the illegal stuff the
company was doing.

Military moron: Big dude, low voice, ex-military, and took
his job way too seriously.

Everyone at this job hated me fairly quickly because I was
the only qualified tech that knew what he was doing. They
also thought they could push me around because I was a new
guy there. That didn't happen. 

Ultimately, bitch cunt manager and military moron got me
fired.

I believe bitch cunt manager found out about the comic and
got "offended" by it.

Military moron came up to me one day while I was at a desk
waiting for more work to do, pointed at a guy in a shirt and
tie walking around and said to me, "That's the owner of the
company", to which I replied, "Is that supposed to impress
me?", because it didn't.

So anyway, bitch cunt manager had her gaping holes offended
by the comic, and military moron got offended because I
didn't give a shit about the owner of the company, who
wasn't even looking at me, nor did he even care what I was
doing. Yeah.

The reason I was given for getting fired? "Not working well
with others." Correct? Yes. I don't tolerate morons, and let
them know it.

It would have been very easy to shut the company down. Wild,
flagrant misuse of Windows OS licenses, reselling laptops
instead of destroying them per contract agreement, etc. This
company was on the take and everyone was cashing in. Well,
everyone except me because I was just a lowly "technician".

This is a real review posted about that company about a year
ago:

"These guys are a fraud, beware, computers are worthless
junk, they sell it as used working condition on ebay, then
they will ask you to ship it back after you find out its
worthless then they will block communications through ebay.
you will have to open dispute."

Absolutely 100% true. They're still doing the same shit they
did 8 years ago. They take shit computers meant to go to
destruction, reload the OS illegally, then resell them, and
once you find out they're total crap and you want a refund,
they make you pay for everything to ship it all back, then
block you simply for demanding that the stuff you bought
actually WORKS.

I'm not pissed off I got fired from the job. I'm pissed off
that these assholes are still in business, ripping people
off left and right.

<p>One thing that used to be here that I took off but am now putting back is the cartoon I used to draw. Here's episode one. More to come later. I'll try to have one done every week or so.</p>
<p>My old comic was called "Menga Manga", but this one is titled simply "Menga".</p>
