My experience driving around with an OpenStreetMap on a Garmin nuvi
Even though my Garmin nuvi 40LM has free lifetime maps, I decided to give the free OpenStreetMap database a try anyway.
The experience was... interesting.
I've been a GPS user since 2005, and recently I bought a backup unit, a Garmin nuvi 255[/epnt]. The price was a little over 30 bucks. Used, of course.
My standard advice to anyone thinking of buying a vintage solid-body electric guitar is this:
Don't do it.
But being there are going to be those of you who are going to do it anyway, this is a list of things you need to know before buying one.
